OSTP Deploys Operator MES
Operator Systems A/S is proud to announce that OSTP has decided to invest in a new Operator MES platform to strengthen its effectiveness, market competitiveness, and to increase levels of customer satisfaction.
OSTP is a Specialist Welded Stainless Steel Tubular Products manufacturer offering one of the broadest range of products in the market, including Process Pipes & Tubes, Butt Weld Fittings, and Process Equipment, all used for pressure corrosion applications. A joint venture between Tubinoxia and Outokumpu Group, OSTP has five production sites, located in Jakobstad in Finland, Örnsköldsvik in Sweden, and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. OSTP’s turnover is close to EUR 200 million.

This Operator solution will feed us online information about our manufacturing performance and is also a strong tool to evaluate performance, which will help us support our Lean initiatives and our continuous improvement processes. The Operator MES and OEE solution is fully integrated with our Microsoft AX ERP solution. We decided on this solution because Operator Systems has a proven track record from similar larger international manufacturing companies.”
OSTP chose to simultaneously implement the Optimity Planning Solution from Optimity AB to complement the MES solution.
